We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics to join our team at Midwestern University's College of Dental Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the specialty of endodontics, as well as contributing to the development of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in the specialty of endodontics, including clinical and didactic instruction
- Contribute to the development of our academic programs, including curriculum design and implementation
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities, including committee work and professional development
- Engage in scholarly activity, including research and publication
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students
- DDS/DMD degree and a specialty degree in endodontics from a CODA-accredited institution
- Board certification in endodontics is desired
- Minimum of five years of experience in private practice or at an academic health center in endodontics
- Arizona License and DEA License are required
- Experience in leadership and administration, including oversight of clinical dentistry
This position involves working in a fast-paced clinical environment, with frequent interaction with students, staff, and faculty. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly and professionally.
