About the Role

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist to enhance our company culture and support employee growth. This role focuses on career planning, succession planning, and skills development, working closely with the recruiting team to help achieve strategic goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesCareer Development
  • Create and manage job descriptions to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs.
  • Work with managers to develop and implement career plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead programs for tuition, certificates, and skills training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Identify and nurture future leaders, providing mentorship and coaching to support their growth and advancement.
  • Track career progression and succession plans, ensuring a smooth transition of knowledge and expertise.
Talent Recruitment
  • Mentor and develop the recruiting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Align recruiting efforts with career and succession plans, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and a diverse workforce.
  • Develop strategies for talent acquisition and pipeline building, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches.
Training Coordination
  • Manage and track training resources and programs, ensuring effective utilization and ROI.
  • Assess skills needed for current and future needs, identifying gaps and opportunities for development.
  • Organize mandatory training and explore funded training opportunities, providing employees with the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Experience in talent development and training, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success in managing recruitment, with a strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and skilled in problem-solving, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
