About the Role
">As a Front Desk Agent at KMG Hotels, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and setting the tone for our guests' stays. With over 800 associates across our 21 hotels, we prioritize building strong relationships with our team members and fostering a culture of growth and development.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our front desk team as a Customer Experience Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for providing warm and knowledgeable service to our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, and promoting our hotel's services and amenities.
Key Responsibilities
- Register guests and assign rooms efficiently, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Assist in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations, utilizing your knowledge of room status and room rates.
- Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures.
- Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department, notifying them of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and day-use rooms.
- Possess a working knowledge of the reservations department, taking same-day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
- Process guest check-outs, working closely with the housekeeping department to maintain accurate room status reports.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote our hotel's services and amenities, exceeding guest expectations and driving revenue growth.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; one year of front desk experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Opera is a plus, but not essential.
- Additional language skills are a bonus, although not required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
