Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Clinic Support Team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients in a clinic setting, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Take vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements, accurately recording patient data.
  • Review charts and pertinent information to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Prepare exam rooms for patient setup and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the clinic, ensuring seamless patient flow.
  • Clean and sterilize procedures to maintain infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Ensure clinic supplies are adequately stocked and well-organized.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • 6 months of relevant work experience in direct patient care, preferably in Family Practice or Pediatrics.
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including proper use of English grammar and spelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
