Position Overview:
We are seeking an individual with extensive expertise in human research studies, who possesses the capability to train research personnel in the coordination and management of clinical trials.

Role Responsibilities:
This position entails a leadership role within the Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease, where the candidate is expected to have a solid understanding of research compliance, experience in clinical trial audits, and the ability to lead internal audits effectively.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of eight research staff, managing their daily activities and ensuring compliance with all protocols.

Key Functions:
- Assist in the development of research protocols.
- Supervise a program for peer-reviewed pilot studies.
- Manage and train staff on site development, subject enrollment, and clinical trial monitoring.

This role focuses on the management of multiple studies, with an expectation to familiarize oneself with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each study.

Additional Qualifications:
This is not a research administrator position; however, experience with grant applications, particularly for clinical trials and multi-component grants, is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence, excellent presentation skills, and strong collaborative abilities.
