Operations Manager Trainee

About the Role

The Operations Manager Trainee is a key position within our organization, responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the skills and company knowledge necessary to independently run a financially viable PDS supported dental office. As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for engaging in and owning your professional development through completing the OM Development Program, while being supported by your direct supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Company Culture: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our company culture, values, and standards, and actively promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Team Management: Assess, hire, and retain top talent through comprehensive training, supervision, counseling, and coaching.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve staff and patient issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Operational Execution: Execute the PDS Operational Model with consistency to meet identified office imperatives in partnership with the Owner Dentist.
  • Financial Management: Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth, while managing expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget.
  • Cash Management: Show proficiency and adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Leadership Development: Develop and implement an office success plan, including staff development and office protocols to ensure efficient operations during manager absences.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
  • Travel: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation to travel to multiple offices per day.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Five or more years of experience leading a team, mentoring, and coaching subordinates.

  • Competitive Salary: $28.00-$39.00 per hour.
