We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist to join our team at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our hospital medicine program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, retain, and supervise physicians to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement standardized care protocols to improve patient safety and quality.
  • Participate in hospital-based physician practice and contribute to the development of our medical staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hospitalist and leadership role in a group practice.
  • Fundamental knowledge related to hospital-based physician practice.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Working Conditions
  • Normal patient care environment with possible exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature.
  • Exposure to adverse working conditions due to performance of patient care activities, and exposure to communicable diseases.
Conditions of Employment
  • GBMC Medical Staff Privileges.

  • Standard precaution policy and procedures are applicable to this job.
Patient Safety
  • Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient safety as it relates to the job duties.
Patient Population
  • Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs.
