We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our veterinary practice in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to patients, leading and mentoring a team of veterinary professionals, and collaborating with the hospital manager to oversee daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Veterinary Care: Develop and implement medical protocols and standards to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Lead and Mentor Veterinary Team: Foster a positive and supportive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development among team members.
- Collaborate with Hospital Manager: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional client service.
- Develop Business Strategies: Implement strategies to enhance patient care, client communication, and clinic profitability.
- Serve as Liaison: Provide feedback and implement best practices between the clinic and support center.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree: From an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed to Practice Veterinary Medicine: In the state of New York.
- Proven Experience: In clinical veterinary practice, with a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery.
- Leadership Experience: Preferred, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: With a passion for driving practice growth and success.
- Commitment to Continuous Learning: Staying current on veterinary medical advancements.
