Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our veterinary team and drive the success of our clinic. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality veterinary care, mentoring and developing our associate veterinarians, and contributing to the development of new practice protocols and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality veterinary care by all team members.
- Mentor and develop associate veterinarians to be their best through side-by-side coaching, feedback sessions, and regular case discussions.
- Participate in a performance improvement process to address performance issues and maintain a high-performing team.
- Client Experience and Relations
- Partner with the clinic manager to deliver an excellent client experience, including handling client complaints when applicable.
- Act as an ambassador of Bond Vet within the veterinary community and the public at large.
- Talent Acquisition and Development
- Participate in talent acquisition efforts for doctors and support staff to ensure the recruitment of high-caliber veterinary talent.
- Create and maintain the clinic doctor schedule to balance the needs of the hospital and associate veterinarians.
- Education and Licensure
- Veterinary medical degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent).
- State licensure that is in good standing or eligibility for such licensure.
- DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed.
- Experience
- 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred.
- 1+ years of leadership experience preferred.
