Paz Veterinary is a dynamic and innovative veterinary practice that is redefining the veterinary lifestyle and experience. We are a collective that loves animals of all species and breeds, as well as humans of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Guidance: Develop and maintain consistent medical standards and protocols, ensuring complete and accurate patient records, and facilitating regular discussions with the team to optimize patient care.
- Patient & Client Management: Provide attentive and empathetic care to patients and clients, assist with client medical complaints, advocate for protocols to continuously improve the client experience, and hold individuals accountable for client service and patient care.
- Staff Management: Foster a fun work environment, mentor associate doctors, and support technical staff development.
- Business Operations & Financial Success: Provide guidance and feedback to associates on financial performance, report on KPIs, support the implementation of client marketing programs, review requests for additional inventory, ensure justification, assist in maintaining the pharmacy, and work with the budget to assess focus areas with the Operations Team.
- Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalent.
- Licensure: Active veterinarian licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience practicing small animal veterinary medicine.
- Leadership: Experience providing objective leadership, with the ability to influence staff and outcomes, flexibility to manage competing hospital needs, and the ability to partner effectively with hospital leaders and staff alike on medical and business objectives.
