We are seeking a talented and experienced Medical Director to join our team and lead our local office in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
The OpportunityWe are looking for a Medical Director who is passionate about primary care and has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. As a Medical Director at One Medical, you will have the opportunity to lead your local team in demonstrating clinical excellence and practicing sustainability.
You will work closely with our District Medical Director and Office Manager to solve problems, shape our organizational priorities, and develop your management and leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to continually develop your clinical skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training programs.
Responsibilities- Manage a team of in-office providers and ensure that they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs.
- Guide and support providers' professional development.
- Partner with the Office Manager to support a collaborative, positive office community.
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams.
- Own specific office management and HR functions.
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs.
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits.
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities.
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams.
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures.
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers.
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date.
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date.
