Our seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns have been delighting people for years.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our office team in delivering exceptional patient care. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of providers, ensuring clinical excellence, and practicing sustainability.
You will work closely with our District Medical Director and Office Manager to solve problems, shape organizational priorities, and develop your management and leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to continually develop your clinical skills and knowledge through our Clinical Rounds program.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of in-office providers and ensure they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with the Office Manager to support a collaborative, positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Own specific office management and HR functions
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date
