POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales atmosphere. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles across all store functions, including overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Performance Management: Analyzes sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.
Sets clear expectations and holds the store team accountable for meeting brand standards and performance metrics.
Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.
Oversees daily operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate payroll documentation.

Financial Accountability: Executes all financial processes in compliance with company policies, including cash handling, price adjustments, and merchandise management; ensures accuracy in all register transactions.

Compliance and Training: Ensures adherence to legal requirements, loss prevention policies, and operational procedures; conducts training for associates to reinforce compliance standards.

Visual Merchandising: Maintains visual presentation and organization of the store, ensuring it reflects the brand's image.

Team Development: Inspires and motivates the store team, fostering a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving and actively communicates with team members to drive positive change.
Seeks opportunities for personal growth and actively seeks feedback to enhance leadership skills.

Customer Engagement: Models and promotes the principles of exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
Utilizes various sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers effectively, addressing their needs and preferences.
Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Talent Development: Aids in the recruitment, hiring, and training of a high-performing team.
Implements training programs and provides ongoing support to enhance team performance.
Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters promptly and effectively.
Recognizes and rewards outstanding team performance to foster engagement.


Other Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in retail management preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company
Proven track record of exceptional customer service and sales leadership
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership abilities and team-building skills
Knowledge of administrative functions related to store operations
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff
Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives; flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant walking/standing throughout the shift
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Frequent climbing as needed.
