Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Utility Worker to join our team at McWane. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the production process, including hydrant assembly, forklift operation, and painting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare workstations and materials for assembly and painting tasks
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished goods throughout the facility
  • Paint and coat parts using handheld paint sprayers and other equipment
  • Inspect and verify product quality to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the production process
Requirements
  • Lifting and carrying an average of 50 pounds
  • Standing for greater than 6 hours per day
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
  • Ability to work around machinery and use hand tools
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
