Job Title: Maintenance Laborer

Job Summary: Clow Valve is seeking a Maintenance Laborer to join our team at our Metal Casting Facility. As a Maintenance Laborer, you will be responsible for cleaning around machines, sweeping sand, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming excess sand in hard to reach areas.
  • Assisting the maintenance department in other facets of the Metal Casting Facility.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
  • Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
  • Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
  • Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
  • Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust & fumes & operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
  • Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
  • Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
