Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic C
Job Summary: Clow Valve Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic C to join our team at the Machine Shop. As a Maintenance Mechanic C, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, lubricating, troubleshooting, and adjusting machines and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection on production equipment.
- Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of production equipment.
- Perform minor repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
- Use of common hardware including: bolts, pipe fittings, etc.
- Preventative maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
- Operate fork trucks, lifts, and conveyors.
- Welding and minor fabrications.
Qualifications:
- Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
- Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
- Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
- Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
- Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust & fumes & operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
- Applicant must have 2-4 years verifiable maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
- Tech degree is a strong plus. Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
- Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
