Job Summary

CLOW VALVE COMPANY IS SEEKING A MAINTENANCE MECHANIC TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

This is a 2nd shift position with a starting rate of pay of $25.96-$27.80.

Health insurance is available after 60 days, and a sign-on bonus of $1,500.00 is offered after 120 days.

Responsibilities
  • Repair, maintain, install, lubricate, troubleshoot, and adjust machines and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections on Metal Casting Facility equipment.
  • Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of Metal Casting Facility equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
  • Use common hardware, including bolts, pipe fittings, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on Metal Casting Facility equipment and machinery.
  • Operate fork trucks, lifts, and conveyors. Welding and minor fabrications.
Qualifications
  • Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
  • Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
  • Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
  • Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
  • Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust & fumes & operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
  • Applicant must have 2-4 years verifiable maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
  • Tech degree is a strong plus.
  • Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
  • Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
