Position Overview
As an integral part of the academic support team, the role focuses on providing guidance and information to both undergraduate and graduate students regarding their educational journeys and achievements. This position is essential in maintaining accurate student records and fostering effective communication with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Engagement: Conduct meetings with students to address inquiries related to their academic programs, including requirements, registration processes, and policy clarifications.
2. Information Management: Execute reference searches and manage records in response to student queries.
3. Faculty Collaboration: Assist faculty members with administrative and student-related requests.
4. Record Keeping: Prepare assessment reports and maintain comprehensive student records and databases.
5. Curriculum Oversight: Review and process actions related to curriculum changes.
6. Interdepartmental Interaction: Collaborate with other academic units on joint programs.
7. Event Coordination: Organize and manage student events as needed.
8. Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of three to four years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with the ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and proficiency in specialized software applications will be favored.
