Job Responsibilities:


In this role, you will report to the Customer Care Manager and collaborate with various departments, including sales, engineering, operations, and customer service, to exceed customer expectations on every assignment.

Your duties will include traveling to client locations to conduct scheduled services, troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, recommend spare parts, provide phone support, and implement upgrades and modernization of equipment.

You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive equipment lifecycle management services, including installation, startup and commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment audits, and training.


A qualified candidate will have the necessary electrical and mechanical skills to effectively communicate issues encountered in the field and the discipline to perform under time-sensitive and demanding work conditions.

This position will require a minimum of 6-8 weeks of training at our facility, followed by additional field training with experienced technicians at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct field service visits to client locations for installation, commissioning, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training services.

Perform mechanical and electrical modifications to machinery.
Hold site meetings with client representatives to explain job scope and completed work.

Provide training to client personnel to ensure understanding of operations, functionality, and general maintenance of equipment.

Dismantle machinery for refurbishment or relocation.
Achieve service delivery objectives, including response time, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with field service management and internal support teams to resolve client issues efficiently.

Provide technical assistance to clients via phone and email, including off-hours and weekend emergency support on a scheduled basis.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all service activities.
Provide feedback on equipment reliability to quality engineering and collaborate on improvements.
Attend training sessions and technician meetings as required.
Adhere to industry, company, and client safety practices.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
Ability to interpret complex technical information, including schematics.
Experience with servo drives and motor configuration.
Familiarity with robotics and industrial robot applications is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office Suite.
Analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and identify root causes.
Ability to make informed decisions considering facts, goals, constraints, and risks.
Self-management skills to effectively utilize time and resources to meet objectives.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a technical degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant technical experience.
Experience in the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of large capital equipment is a plus.
A background in the packaging machinery industry and industrial automation is favorable.
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and some weekends.
Reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and attentive to accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
