Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Inspector IV to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our life safety product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems
  • Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices
  • Follow and maintain a structured inspection schedule
  • Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation
  • Make minor repairs under direct supervision
  • Complete assigned inspections on time
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems preferred
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
  • Experience with hand tools and wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs
  • Able to work in unusual positions and flexible hours, including on-call rotation
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and ability to adhere to safety guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET III Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems
  • NFPA Water-Based Inspection, Testing and Maintenance
  • ASSE I50I0 Water-Based Protection Systems
  • Completion of a DOL approved Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship Program
