Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and diagnose equipment/system malfunctions
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals and documentation to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operational product manuals
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and strong organizational skills
Requirements
  • 5+ years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to participate in our on-call program
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET III Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems certification
  • NFPA Water-Based Inspection, Testing and Maintenance certification
  • ASSE I50I0 Water-Based Protection Systems certification
  • Completion of a DOL approved Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship Program
