Position Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Remote)

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, our successful team members engage in various dynamic areas aimed at providing an outstanding customer experience within the commercial energy sector. Our dedicated energy team is committed to delivering exceptional service through timely and precise processing of energy efficiency applications, alongside comprehensive customer support in a specialized and technical setting. Responsibilities include meticulous evaluations of energy incentive applications for eligibility, finalizing energy applications and associated payments, and providing inbound and outbound assistance for applicants and program participants through phone and online chat, as well as other back-office processing support for our utility clients and their customers. The daily responsibilities for this role necessitate a strong focus on incoming and repetitive data while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in non-scripted customer interactions via phone, email, and software chat applications.
  • Conduct professional outreach.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding energy applications and program details.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of professional work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office Suite applications for 2+ years.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in business processing or back-office operations is strongly preferred.
  • Capability to accurately process applications in a highly repetitive environment.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.
  • Computer skills including data entry with a high degree of accuracy and speed, as well as database navigation, are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Exhibit a high energy level, positive attitude, and enthusiasm while collaborating with team members, customers, and program participants.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of program participants, from homeowners to contractors, to troubleshoot application requirements.
  • Ability to identify, define, and resolve issues promptly, gathering and analyzing information skillfully to develop alternative solutions.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Typing speed of 45 to 50 words per minute is preferred.
  • Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude, are required.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and work limited overtime as necessary.
