Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Fabrication Manager or similar role in fabrication, manufacturing, or metalworking industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment, with proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team of production professionals.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize tasks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the fabrication shop for extended periods.
  • Strength and Stamina: Strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual Acuity: Visual acuity and depth perception for reviewing technical drawings, inspecting fabricated components, and monitoring production operations.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity for operating fabrication equipment, machinery controls, and hand tools.
