Senior Systems Architect

Job Summary:
The Swift Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to lead our Systems Engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, developing system requirements specifications, and guiding design and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
- Develop comprehensive SOA solutions.
- Conduct and/or approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize system operations.
- Improve standard integration strategies based on previous decisions.
- Define interfaces in terms of origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics.
- Use validated models, simulations, and prototyping to mitigate risk and reduce cost.
- Develop alternative courses of action, workarounds, and fall-back positions.
- Maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standards.
- Ensure effective, periodic review and control of the evolving configuration of a system.
- Serve as a member of the CCB.
- Recommend a preferred solution based on selection criteria.
Requirements:
- Twenty (20) years experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Desired Experience:
- Technical Certification as an Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) from INCOSE, DAWIA SPRDE Level 3, or other equivalent certification.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
