Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a critical technical leadership role, you will be responsible for fielding next-generation Navy Radar/EO/IR and Electronic Warfare systems and land-based sensor networks.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and collaborate with teams of other sensor engineers, software developers, combat system engineers, and physicists.
- Invent, explore, and use modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities, data analysis tools, and machine learning algorithms.
- Apply signal and data processing tools, including machine learning, to large data sets to develop novel algorithms.
- Advise and guide the strategic direction of analysis capabilities for our group and the programs it supports.

Requirements

- A BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent technical field with at least 5 years of sensor systems engineering experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time as needed.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.
