With over 110 years of commitment to community health, our 257-bed facility offers a wide range of preventive, diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services to individuals of all backgrounds, irrespective of their financial situation.

Position Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)

Work Schedule: Days

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation: $31.96 per hour

Role Summary:

The Certified Medical Coder is responsible for accurately coding medical records using established coding classification systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately codes all diagnoses, surgical procedures, and diagnostic tests.
  • Codes and abstracts inpatient records and outpatient surgical records.
  • Codes and abstracts clinic records based on the assigned acuity grid.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CLS or CPC Coding Certification required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
