REGIONAL AIR MEDICAL NURSE BENEFITS
Annual Salary Range: $98,000 - $101,000

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000, distributed in two payments after training completion

Work Schedule: 10 days on duty followed by 20 days off

Travel Expenses: Covered by the company

Accommodation: Provided by the company during shifts

We are seeking Regional Air Medical Nurses to deliver direct patient care in alignment with established protocols and medical guidance. This role also involves filling in for open shifts as required within the designated region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each flight dispatched, along with daily base checks, including narcotic inventory.

Deliver advanced life support care in pre-hospital and intra-hospital settings from initial contact until patient handover to the receiving medical facility, ensuring comprehensive patient care documentation.

Maintain proficiency in clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and practical experiences.

Keep accurate records of required licenses, certifications, continuing education, safety protocols, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.

Demonstrate knowledge in the operation and routine upkeep of all equipment and supplies utilized in emergency services.

Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS personnel, hospitals, and the community.

Act as a medical team member during flights.

Participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings, completing all necessary documentation.

Assist with pre-mission checklists and provide pilot support as needed, including radio communication, navigation, and visual monitoring.

Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of oneself, medical staff, patients, and equipment prior to takeoff.

Conduct safety briefings for the aircraft as necessary.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years in an emergency or critical care environment is required.

Flight experience is preferred.

Education:
Current RN licensure in the relevant states is mandatory.

EMT Certification in applicable states is required.

AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be obtained prior to flight status. Trauma certification is required within six months of hire.

Advanced Certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) are preferred and must be acquired within 12 months of hire.

Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and ITLS/PHTLS are preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to adjust facial hair as necessary to fit an N95 mask.

Must possess the gross and fine motor skills required to perform a full range of safe and effective patient care activities.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
