About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team at Air Methods Pilots. As a member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for operating our aircraft in a safe and legal manner, ensuring the well-being of our patients and crew members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Air Methods' aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
  • Complete pre-flight checks to ensure the aircraft's airworthiness and sign off the Daily Flight Log.
  • Conduct thorough walk-arounds before and after each flight.
  • Participate in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees, and community outreach.
  • Maintain a weight not to exceed 250 pounds and be less than seventy (70) years old.
Requirements
  • Pilots must have flown in category for a commercial operator or in the military within the previous 24 months.
  • Maintain a Commercial & Instrument Rating (for category and class of aircraft).
  • Hold an ATP rating in category.
  • Hold a First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate.
  • Have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two to five years' related experience and/or training.
