We are seeking a skilled fixed-wing pilot for our King Air 200 aircraft to deliver essential medical air transportation services. This role involves operating our King Airplanes, with scheduled shifts consisting of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, catering to both day and night missions. Safety is paramount in our operations; hence, our pilots are part of a dedicated, professional team committed to maintaining the highest safety standards for both crew and patients.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- 2,500 total flight hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 Cross Country hours
- 500 multi-engine hours
- 100-night hours
- 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to and from various locations.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch in accordance with relevant manuals, including adherence to all FAR and company protocols, as well as maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required by company and regulatory standards, including shift logs and load manifests.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide comprehensive shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for recording company change board details.
- Accountable for maintaining required certifications and participating in ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions:
- Required to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
- May involve de-icing the aircraft, assisting with towing, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, as well as preparing the aircraft for flight.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
