Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Director of External Affairs and Business Strategy, operating under general supervision and established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the organization's objectives by assisting in the creation and implementation of both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
  • Enhance the organization's public image by managing content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This includes optimizing profiles to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Support the Director in designing marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters, while also providing administrative assistance and campaign performance reporting.
  • Manage website content, ensuring timely updates to blogs, front-page sliders, and media galleries, while also overseeing web analytics and reporting tools.
  • Execute projects that reflect high standards of communication and professionalism, responding swiftly to urgent design requests.
  • Moderate user-generated content to maintain a positive online environment.
  • Develop editorial calendars and schedules for content publication.
  • Conduct public relations activities, including maintaining media relationships and drafting press releases.
  • Oversee email marketing initiatives for newsletters and promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and marketing materials.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by generating and sharing engaging content that fosters meaningful connections.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards, protecting the organization's reputation within the community.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by participating in relevant educational opportunities and professional networks.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
  • A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of marketing experience in a professional environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic setting where priorities may shift.
  • Experience in creating business social media content and understanding Search Engine Optimization.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong writing skills and familiarity with WordPress.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
