Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely patient meal orders, utilizing excellent customer service skills and communication techniques.
- Act as a liaison between patients, nursing teams, and the Nutrition Services Department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize the diet office computer system to maintain electronic patient records, update special nutritional needs, and print meal/diet reports as directed.
- Prepare paper menus for mental health patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with diet orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to department standards and regulatory requirements.
- 6 months of hospital food service experience, with familiarity with food assembly techniques and modified diets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to rotate shifts, including 6:00AM – 2:30PM and 10:30AM – 7:00PM.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a focus on customer service, nutrition, or a related field.
