We are currently seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to become a vital part of our advanced semiconductor fabrication facility. In this role, you will embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust while demonstrating reliability and enthusiasm.

Role Overview:

Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting various forms of materials and failure analysis within a laboratory setting to support semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborating with customers and stakeholders throughout the manufacturing facility, which includes interpreting requests, aligning on methodologies, executing work in progress in the lab, analyzing data, and effectively communicating findings. Regular participation in customer meetings and task forces will be essential for the thorough interpretation of results.
  • Assisting technical staff in troubleshooting issues related to Dual-Beam FIB, SEM, and TEM technologies.
  • Occasionally handling chemicals while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Developing and refining analytical methodologies.
  • Providing support for manufacturing operations and participating in the on-call schedule as part of the team.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline such as Materials Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferred experience in preparing TEM samples for semiconductor applications.
  • Desirable skills in TEM analysis, including HR-STEM imaging and EDS analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Capability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to address lab-related issues outside of standard working hours.
  • Occasional work in a cleanroom environment may be required.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Windows OS and MS Office.
