Key Responsibilities- Engage in comprehensive training by shadowing experienced team members to understand all facets of branch operations and the responsibilities of a Branch Manager.
- Contribute to sales growth by maintaining relationships with existing clients and actively communicating new product offerings and promotions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels including in-person interactions, phone inquiries, and email correspondence.
- Manage the sales process effectively, ensuring accuracy in order processing, payment handling, and delivery scheduling.
- Conduct regular outreach to clients to assess satisfaction levels with our products and services.
- Maintain detailed records and generate reports on sales activities while overseeing inventory management.
- Enhance knowledge of HVAC products and stay updated on industry trends.
- Learn the various roles within the branch, including Customer Service Representatives, Warehouse Associates, and Drivers, to gain a holistic understanding of operations.
- Foster positive relationships with all levels of management and team members to ensure cohesive operations.
- Ensure the branch showroom and warehouse are well-organized, stocked, and free from safety hazards.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of job functions typically acquired through higher education.
- Works under close supervision with clearly defined tasks.
- Encounters straightforward problems that require basic solutions.
- Communicates relevant facts, policies, and practices related to the role.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and master branch operations within 8-12 months, preparing for a transition to Branch Manager.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle challenging customer interactions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Leadership potential, including skills in delegation and personnel development.
- Knowledge of HVAC products is advantageous.
- Capability to assist in warehouse operations and safely operate a forklift when necessary.
- Ability to follow established procedures and company policies.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, retail, or HVAC is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
