We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Century Group. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounts payable or similar roles.

About the Role
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing and sending payments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with vendors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent organizational skills, and is able to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoice Processing: The Accounts Payable Specialist will receive, review, and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
  2. Payment Preparation: They will prepare and send payments through various methods.
  3. Account Reconciliation: The specialist will reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Vendor Communication: They will communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  5. Relationship Building: The Accounts Payable Specialist will establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  6. Month-End Closing: They will assist in month-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role, a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary Information

Expected starting base salary $30-$40 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
