Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and delivering optimal patient care in our respiratory therapy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of the respiratory therapy department, including staff assignments and scheduling.
  • Assist department director with supervisory tasks and safe daily operation of the department.
  • Charge and chart credits, QI initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to respiratory therapy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • PALS and NRP certifications strongly preferred.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
  • Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) certification.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
