Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices for inventory management, including accurate forecasting, stock level optimization, new launch and buildout activities, and minimizing carrying costs.
  • Prepare annual warehouse budget and analyze warehouse costs such as labor, storage, inventory, transportation, and overhead expenses.
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize/reduce warehouse expenses while ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present monthly cost report(s) to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and proposing solutions if applicable.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with third-party service providers and suppliers to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
  • Manage warehouse contracts and perform monthly warehouse inventory to shipment reconciliation.
  • Drive warehouse continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • Perform and/or support Physical Inventory at the warehouses as frequent as established or needed. Also perform or support cycle counts as needed.
  • Lead and coordinate risk management projects from initiation through implementation and closure, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risk.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related field with minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Production Control experience and knowledge.
