Shift:
6:00pm - 6:00am, rotating

Position Overview:
The Press Operator is accountable for all facets of operating analog printing machinery to meet production and quality benchmarks, while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret job ticket instructions and set up the press accordingly.
- Oversee the make-ready/set-up of the screen press to guarantee optimal machine configuration, registration, ink viscosity, color mixing, and print quality.
- Determine ideal speed, registration, and print quality per established standards.
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production tasks on the screen press.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain production logs and reports as necessary.
- Accurately account for labor and materials utilized through diligent data collection.
- Support management in training production staff and assist with ink inventory management.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.
- Interact with customers and clients in a courteous and professional manner as required.
- May perform prepress tasks such as screen preparation and imaging as needed.
- Availability for overtime as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating similar printing presses is essential.
- Proficient in color mixing and production techniques in printing.
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of press operations and functions.
- Dependability through consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Positive safety mindset. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Occasional climbing onto the press and frequent standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

The national pay range for this role is $38.00/hour, which may vary slightly based on geographic location.

The actual compensation offered may differ based on education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in bonus, commission, or incentive programs.
