Position Overview:
The Press Operator plays a crucial role in managing all facets of analog printing machinery, ensuring production and quality standards are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret job ticket instructions and oversee the setup of the press accordingly.
2. Ensure optimal machine setup, including registration, ink viscosity, and color mixing to achieve high print quality.
3. Monitor and adjust production jobs on the screen press, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain production logs and reports.
5. Accurately track labor and materials used during production.
6. Assist in training new production staff and manage ink inventory.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste disposal.
8. Engage with clients and customers professionally as required.
9. Perform prepress tasks such as screen preparation and imaging as necessary.
10. Work overtime when needed and undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Proven experience operating similar printing presses.
3. Proficient in color mixing and production techniques.
4. Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
5. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
6. Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
7. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
8. Positive attitude towards safety practices.
9. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is preferred.

Working Conditions:
1. Occasional climbing and reaching required.
2. Frequent standing for extended periods.
3. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:
The national pay range for this role is $38.00/hour, subject to variation based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Additional compensation may include bonuses or incentives based on role specifics.
