Shift:
6:00pm - 6:00am, rotating

Position Overview:
The Press Operator is accountable for all facets of operating analog printing machinery, adhering to production and quality standards, while maintaining budgetary constraints and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret job ticket instructions and prepare the press accordingly.
- Ensure proper setup of the screen press, including registration, ink viscosity, color mixing, and print quality.
- Determine optimal speed, registration, and print quality based on established standards.
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production jobs on the screen press.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain production logs and reports as required.
- Accurately track labor and materials used.
- Support management in training production staff.
- Assist with ink inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including waste disposal.
- Interact with customers and clients professionally as needed.
- Perform prepress tasks such as screen preparation and imaging as required.
- Work overtime as necessary.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience on similar printing equipment is required.
- Proficient in color mixing and production.
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong mathematical skills including basic operations.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of press operations and functions.
- Dependability demonstrated through consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Positive safety mindset.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Occasional climbing onto the press.
- Frequent standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

The national pay range for this role is $38.00/hour, with potential variations based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
In addition to base salary, total compensation may include participation in bonus, commission, or incentive programs.
