EMC Compliance Specialist

Position Overview:

We are currently in search of an EMC Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Integration International Inc. In this pivotal role, you will engage in hands-on testing and oversight of compliance processes within our state-of-the-art laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive EMC testing to ensure products meet both internal specifications and global regulatory standards.
  • Act as a vital link between internal engineering teams and external regulatory bodies throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and interpret evolving regulations to ensure compliance and guide engineering teams effectively.
  • Manage third-party testing partners to complement in-house capabilities and ensure thorough compliance assessments.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and implement product approval strategies based on regulatory standards.
  • Perform both compliance and pre-compliance testing to identify potential performance gaps.
  • Document and track testing data in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Provide support for technical documentation and assist in the preparation of compliance reports.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison with government agencies and third-party accreditation bodies.
  • Conduct environmental testing on products, including assessments for thermal shock and vibration.
  • Participate in audits conducted by third-party accreditation organizations.
  • Ensure adherence to EMC and RF testing standards relevant to our products.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, with a focus on EMC Testing and Certification.
  • Hands-on experience with EMC testing of electronic systems and components.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of compliance processes.

Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required; extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
