About Our Role

We're seeking a compassionate and results-driven Family Service Advisor for Venice Memorial Gardens in Venice, FL. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding families through both at-need and preneed services, offering funeral and cemetery services, property, and merchandise while meeting sales goals established by management.

Your Key Tasks:
  • Sell pre-arranged funeral contracts, cemetery property, and related merchandise, ensuring alignment with company sales objectives and procedures.
  • Assist families with pre-need services, including cash and installment sales, and ensure proper funding mechanisms for prearranged plans.
  • Complete contracts and documents in accordance with company policies to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Actively develop personal sales leads through networking, telephone outreach, follow-up with families, and group marketing activities.
  • Conduct home presentations and set appointments to discuss prearrangement options with prospective clients.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal business training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in commissioned sales is strongly preferred.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record is a must.
  • Ability to travel independently and attend off-site appointments as needed.
