Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate preparation of funding applications, proposals, and reports as assigned, ensuring timely submission to meet funder deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Met Council staff on data collection and evaluation to meet funder objectives.
  • Prepare internal documentation for job postings, Human Resources paperwork, and onboarding materials.
  • Organize and coordinate functions and events, including meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Support the production of external written materials, such as press releases, reports, and flyers, including proofreading and light editing.
  • Perform office management tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as assigned, taking minutes and action items as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative or office work, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, with a strong focus on organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in database management and data analysis a plus.
  • A strong commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $21-$28 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include pre-tax commuter benefits, a 403(b) plan, pro-rated vacation time, sick leave, and holidays.
