The Role

The Table Games Hosts will be responsible for the proper operation of designated table games, exchanging chips for cash, calculating payoffs for wagers, and providing exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional demeanor. Strong mathematical skills, previous experience dealing table games, and superior guest service skills are required. A Rhode Island gaming license is also necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Build customer loyalty and return visitation by delivering unique customer interactions.
  • Exchange chips for cash.
  • Calculate odds for payment.
  • Operate games professionally and maintain compliance with gaming regulations.
  • Protect gaming equipment and company assets.
  • Comply with customer service programs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional appearance.
  • Promote positive public relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Reading, writing, simple arithmetic, mathematics, good color vision, finger and arm dexterity, good vision, speaking, hearing, sitting, standing, lifting, bending, working under pressure, and working rapidly for long periods.
  • The physical requirements are general for this position, and the actual exertion level may vary depending on tasks.
Working Conditions
  • Mostly indoors with a climate-controlled environment, occasionally outdoors.
  • Noise, smoke, and odors.
  • Working with others and independently.
Qualifications
  • One year or more of dealing experience.
  • Proper training and licensing.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Enthusiastic customer service skills.
  • Ability to complete dealer auditions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and prior training in table games.
  • Responsible for compliance in conducting games.
License Requirements

Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License.
