Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and ensure the restaurant is set up and inviting before opening
  • Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness throughout service, including cleaning floors, tables, and other areas
  • Act as both a host and a server by serving water, suggesting food and beverage items, and providing personalized service
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items and beverages to offer informed recommendations
  • Handle payments accurately and efficiently, prioritizing safety and security
  • Be vigilant for potential issues and promptly escalate any concerns to management
Requirements
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays with a flexible schedule
  • Proficiency in understanding the steps of service is required
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued
  • Ability to cater to guests' needs attentively
  • Willingness to support fellow associates when required
  • Previous experience in handling cash transactions is preferred
  • A high school education or equivalent is preferred and at least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage is required
  • Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed, and possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms
  • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods without sitting or leaning
  • Must possess fluency in English, be able to work in stressful, high-pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task regularly
