Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, focusing on medication administration, wellness counseling, and oversight of nursing assistants.


Key Responsibilities
  • Medication administration in accordance with established protocols
  • Providing direct care and service to residents, including bathing, dressing, and transferring as needed
  • Teaching and wellness counseling to promote resident health and independence
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure quality care delivery

Requirements
  • Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Connecticut
  • At least two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Ability to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
