Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in procedures and providing diagnostic support through organ or body scans.
  • Preparing and positioning patients while accurately selecting anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Administering contrast media and medications in accordance with accepted practices and regulations.
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and reporting any abnormal findings.
  • Reviewing protocols and suggesting updates as necessary.
  • Adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Performing specialized imaging procedures such as angiography and complex vascular interventions, while assisting the Radiologist/PA.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in all activities.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification:
    • BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    • One or more of the following credentials is required:
      • Cardiographic Tech credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
