Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiologic images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and select appropriate technical factors to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities or concerns to the radiologist.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and reports to the radiology department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Sonographer.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
