Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Minneapolis Operating Group. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership direction to a project, ensuring timely completion, quality, safety, and compliance. This position will be based on a Data Center project in Omaha, Nebraska.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project finances, including financial projections, equipment projections, and budget management.
  • Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, providing job assignments, career development, and ongoing feedback.
  • Act as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative, resolving site concerns and building positive relationships.
  • Execute change orders, obtaining customer and architect approval.
  • Maintain schedule and budget until project completion, ensuring high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum six years of related previous experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects, clean room experience a plus.
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and lead multiple project tasks.
  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
  • Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.
  • Demonstrated positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to travel/relocate to the project site.
