Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Project Manager/Team Leader to join our Civil Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, leadership, and technical expertise in civil engineering.

This is a key role that requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a project team within a defined market sector, including public works, single-family residential, commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family projects.
  • Direct responsibility for projects in the development of plans and specifications, including paving, grading, drainage, and detention facilities, water lines, sanitary sewers, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in market sector specifics and become a trusted resource to clients at the project level.
  • Prepare project proposals for Market Leader or Director final approval.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, including the issuance of project status letters.
  • Review and approve project design and changes, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Provide quality review of project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and avoid errors and omissions.
  • Review invoice drafts and markup to ensure billing matches effort of team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience post-graduation.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Ability to work in an office setting and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
