Role Overview: The Senior Project Leader will collaborate closely with the Executive and Director of Service Excellence, as well as relevant functional leaders, to define project scope, deliverables, and manage the execution of Workforce Classification initiatives. You will oversee a team of Consultants within Procurement Solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of AGS objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Service Excellence Executives and client delivery teams to establish project goals and deliverables aligned with client business objectives.
  • Clarify success criteria and communicate them to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the creation and management of the project work plan, including sequencing, breakdown structure, delivery schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Estimate necessary resources to achieve project goals, including team members and technology tools.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Manage project deliverables and keep senior leadership informed of project status and recommendations.
  • Adhere to established methods, procedures, and quality objectives, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Monitor project milestones and critical dates to proactively address potential scheduling issues.
  • Build and nurture essential business relationships crucial for project success.
  • Communicate risks, needs, and project status to stakeholders effectively.
  • Guide and develop Consultants in their career growth while managing active projects.
  • Serve as a consultant on effective classification and reclassification execution best practices.
  • Align with internal change management practices and collaborate with functional teams throughout the process.

Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse disciplines.
  • Ability to foster consensus among varied groups.
  • Experience in advising senior leadership.
  • Proficient planning experience with a preference for project management certification.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management principles.
  • Familiarity with services procurement best practices, including workforce classification and supplier management strategies.
  • Proven track record in project management with an understanding of PMBOK methodologies.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with leadership in MSP programs or equivalent business management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
